uite ca am incercat si mi-a mers :-). uite ce mi-a zis phpinfo() cu noul
libphp4 printre altele:

                                                    Imap 4R1

                                         Imap Support enabled
                                     Imap c-client Version:
                                                        Imap 4.1

iei rpm-ul de la adresa aia (http://rpms.arvin.dk/imap-no_kerberos/ ).
