Da, poti, numa sa-l pui langa nu peste ala vechi.. recomandabil /opt/gcc
si cand vrei sa compilezi cu ala din /opt scrii:
$ export PATH=/opt/gcc/bin:$PATH
daca il vrei pe ala din distributie pornesti o consola care nu are
/opt/gcc/bin sau ma rog cum s-o chema la tine in PATH
