Treaba sta apare deoarece apache este chrooted si ofc nu poate citi ce-i in /var. Intrebarea este: cum conving php-ul sa NU considere mysqlul ca fiind local? Am incercat cu apache ascultind pe un ip, mysql pe altul - degeaba.
