Salut Se dau mai multe hdds SCSI (Seagate, 10krpm) si un server cu controller SCSI Adaptec 7xxx onboard plus un controller IBM ServeRAID periferic, plus un enclosure IBM. Aceleasi harduri daca le pun in server (pe controller-ul onboard) si fac hdparm -t /dev/sda imi da 50-52 MBytes/s, apoi daca il pun in enclosure, fac un RAID0 in care e doar el, si hdparm -t /dev/sdb (unde sdb e logical device-ul creat pe ServeRAID), imi da aproape jumate (28-29 Mbytes/s).
WTF ?! Ce face exact hdparm -t (in ideea de I/O operations) ?
