It's only a problem if you want a little extra peace of mind...

Two colo customers, Vern and Gomer, are trying to do some work on their
server:

Vern: Hey, which'a these here cat 5 cables goes to our server?
Gomer: Whadda I look like, a cable map? Trace it out.
Vern: (Grumbling) It's a guldurn rat's nest.

(2 minutes later...)

Vern: Okay, I think it's thissun here. (Unplugs the cable.)
Gomer: Hmmm, that's funny, I'm still pinging our server...
Vern: Sheeeit! I unplugged the wrong guldurn cable!
Gomer: Stick it back in afore the po-lice get here!

(A moment later.)

Vern: Whew.
Gomer: Yeah, whew.

(A beat)

Gomer: So which one is OURS?
Vern: Whadda I look like, a cable map...?

Most people are looking for some kind of reasonable balance (read: not too
expensive), somewhere in the middle, with open rats' nests at one end of the
scale and electromagnetic tamper detection at the other.
