Great bunch of suggestions Mark! However, since we don't really know how the SIGs will develop, I would suggest that "Open" should probably not be part of the name of the 'umbrella' organization. For instance, a Macintosh Users Group might not have anything to do with open computing.

If I had to pick one, I would pick CSNN with NoNCS as a second choice. I do believe we need a domain that matches the acronym.

Personally, I like the "NN", if only because it is fun to read. We could
also consider something that is a readable acro:

CINNS - Computing In Northern Nevada Society (cinns.org is free) (you
will pay for your Cinns!)
OCINNS - Open Computing in Northern Nevada
NONOCS - NOrthern Nevada Open Computing Society

Or go back to basics:

NONCS - NOrthern Nevada Computing Society (noncs.org is free)

After all, most of us here are NON-CS ;)
