I like the idea of a switching hub, so keep me informed.
As to the location - The offices are in the building near 9th & Wells on the edge of the Fairgrounds by the Livestock Events Center.
With enough encryption etc., a wireless network "might" work I threw the thought out as a possibility - but I didn't have high hopes.
Wire is always more secure and there will be a lot of financial data and email on this network.

I have a 100mbit 24 port managed hub I can donate, assuming I can get it working. Failing that, I'll try to get another 24 port managed switch from the University auction at the end of this January.
As for wireless, I'd have to see the site. Also, all the sources I know of for wireless aren't free, though they are cheap. Cabling my be cheaper and more practical.
