Hi All,
Mark, our kind and benevolent leader, has left us. I'll leave the details
of his departure to him, as I'm sure he's still reading this list. His
departure leaves us with two immediate problems: establishing a new
leader, and finding a new topic.
I've discussed taking the leadership role with Mark, and am prepared to do
so as long as there are no complaints from the community (anyone need a
soapbox?). I have some ideas I'd like to discuss at our Thursday meeting
(BTW... our room order is in, but haven't heard which room it will be.
Hopefully we'll find out by Thursday!).
Unless someone is willing to take the *BSD talk Mark was going to give
we'll need a new topic (I use BSD... but not proficiently). I can prepare
a speech on configuring Samba as a primary domain controller if anyone is
interested in that. If anyone has a topic they've been waiting for please
let the list know as I'm sure someone could present on it.
