Thanks guys for all your help. After a successful install I am abandoning
installing Linux on my laptop. The death knell came when I found there are no
64 bit drivers for the Broadcom wireless card in the machine. I am at a loss
why someone would put together a 64 bit system intended to only run a 32 bit OS
and software. I know I could just compile a 32 version of Linux and run, but I
would rather just wait to see the 64 bit drivers show up.
