Mandriva (formerly Mandrake) Linux 2006 RC1 is out. People are
commenting on their new package manager, which seems a lot like
Synaptic. I guess you already know they've bought and have working for
them Connectiva and Lycoris.
Damn Small Linux 1.5 out. More improvements. 48.8 mg.
SUSE 10.0 RC1 is out. Final 10.0 expected Oct.6. 10.0 will retail for
Euro 59, but should still also be available for download at opensuse.com.
Ubuntu Breezy 5.10 Colony 4 is out. It installs, works, has Gnome 2.12,
and upgrades keep pouring in, with their update system or with apt.
Breezy should be complete by Oct.
FreeBSD 6.0 Beta 4 is out.
All can be accessed easily through DistroWatch.com.
Just thought you might want to know. If you don't want this stuff on the
mailing group, let me know. I don't want to bother you (particularly
with goofy links, like the last time.
