Well, it's not a matter of willingness. I rode the bus 35 miles each way to high school. When I got a truck I rove 70 miles a day to high school. In all sorts of weather. My current issue involves drinking and driving, depression leading to quitting my job, which lead to my vehicle being reposessed and eventually to homelessness in January. Thanks to providence I ended up getting a job interview with IGT after I decided maybe I wanted to start caring about life again and they flew me out here. Coincidentally my parents live here. So I stayed. Anywas... so that's my trouble getting to Reno. My parents don't have time to drive me. Even if I had the means I am still paying the fines on a DWAI from 2003. (Don't tell them I was driving all of 2004 without a valid license in Kansas) ;-) So.. I don't want pity but I also thought you should know before anymore jokes about being too much of a wimp to drive 40 minutes! Hah! When I was a kid we drove from Ft. Benning, GA to Ft. Wainwright, AK. I think that's about as far as I'd ever want to drive again. Unless they suspend a tesla bridge around the equator... that might be fun. peace, core -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFDT10KGAuLrxOyeJMRApHjAKDqPmdP04rkjY1KSRWdRstggGSELwCg+BDw g9sVftA1MGMx+pIz+5ebGz4= =0rh8 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ RLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.rlug.org/mailman/listinfo/rlug
