Yikes! A colleague of mine used to do testing for InfoWorld magazine back in the 80's. He managed the test lab. Back before Dell was Dell (PC's Limited) they sent in a 286 for testing. It (or, more specifically, the little front panel display) caught fire.

Another of my favorite stories from Steve is the 286 marked as 12mhz that Zeos sent in that had been overclocked to 20mhz (but wasn't marked that way). Nice Huh?
