That would be awesome Dennis. Would you mind asking? I'll still contact
parks to see what their deal is.
If all else fails I may also have sufficient room for a BBQ -- especially
if only the five people who've signed up show ;)

Well let me know - I could talk to the spousal unit to see if she up to us
hosting it at our home.
We're lacking some amenities
No dog, no immediate soccer field (but do have one close by Reed High)
but do have:
A BBQ
Shaded area with tables and chairs
No restrictions on alcohol consumption
No restrictions on music

Or if someone else has a better home venue......

*ooo* Politics... crappy. I know someone who worked for the parks dept for
a while. I'll ask them what our chances are of getting a drinking permit.
I'd prefer not to change the venue if possible... but we can't be without
our beer ;)

Nick,
The table will help, thanks. If you folks are insistent about music
the web site for Rancho San Raphael says
" *PLEASE NOTE: AMPLIFIED MUSIC IS NOT ALLOWED IN WASHOE COUNTY PARKS."
And both Reno & Sparks Parks & Rec sites say no alcohol without a permit.
Is it just me or is this starting to sound like a major hassle?

I "inlined" because that's where the list was - never mind - now
everyone knows.
I don't remember what time was decided for a start time. The earlier,
the better
chance we have for a free standing barbee.
I also have a 10x10 pop-up to create our own shade - anyone have folding
tables they could bring?
And Hey Sam!! Are you going to bring your sorry ass up here for the
picnic?
Dennis
guys, sorry I've been so silent about the picnic, the last few days have
been killer at work.
yes, we can probably use one of the barbeque pits instead of bringing a
barbeque, I've updated the CheckList (tm) accordingly, also I can bring
an old plastic table. Does anyone have any advice as to a specific
location in the park to try to snag? Also, someone suggested 3:00 for a
start time, this might be too late... but too much earlier makes us
alcoholics... comments? ideas?
