As some of you know, one of the disks (of two) in my Octane2 died yesterday. Now, I usually wouldn't be bemoaning this fact, as I would just replace the disk and be on my way (which I have already done). However, this particular disk was part of a RAID0 set for my system partition. I have backups, so no data was harmed in the making of this disaster.
So, I pulled out my backups and my IRIX install disks to reinstall and restore, and I seem to be missing the first disk in the installation set (of 4 critical disks and 20+ optional goodies disks). If any of you out on the World Wide Wobble happen to have an IRIX 6.5 Installation Tools disk (June 1998) that you would be willing to let me borrow for a day, or perhaps part with for monetary reimbursement ;-), I would *greatly* appreciate it if you would drop me a line. Thank you, Brandon -- If UNIX doesn't have the solution you have the wrong problem. UNIX is simple, but it takes a genius to understand it's simplicity. _______________________________________________ RLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.rlug.org/mailman/listinfo/rlug
