I'm in the market for a subnotebook. It should A: Support Linux, B: Be
Small, C: Have good battery life, D: Have a keyboard that is big enough to
be useable E: Be reasonably priced.

Not sure if it counts as a subnotebook, but the IBM/Lenovo X-series may fit your desires. You can pick the older models up off Ebay for pretty cheap.

I've been very happy with my IBM T30 and T43, and know several people who really like their X-series.
