Dear Russell,

You can check in Robinhood Logs if it reports statistiques about the 4
changelog readers.

About cross mdt migration, I talk about using “lfs migrate –m” to move files
betweens MDTs.

Regards,
Thomas

Thanks Thomas!

I've defined it that way but I currently only see a single /dev/ entry in lsof
for the Robinhood process for mdt0000 and none of the others. Should I be
expecting to see the others?

Can you explain a little bit further what you mean by the cross mdt object
migration? Does this impact old file purging? This is what we are currently
using Robinhood for - automatically delete files not accessed in 14 days.

Dear Russell,

Yes the syntax is correct.

Notice that rbh3 does not currently properly manage cross mdt object migration.

Thomas

Objet : [robinhood-support] How to define multiple MDT's?

Hi all,

I may have missed it in the Robinhood manual, but I am not sure how to define
multiple MDT's for one filesystem. We have 4. I checked with our vendor and
they mentioned they believe we would need to define all of the MDT's to make
sure all changes are seen, but are not sure how to do that in Robinhood. Is
this the correct config syntax?

Thanks in advance!
