Hi, I've made a setting patch out of the original sound scaling patch (to allow raise volume up to 100% by reducing bass instead of limiting now for iRiver) here: http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=956.150
It basically allows you to select what should be limited: volume or bass (in sound options). Works only for iRivers (well for UDA1380) - the rest of targets won't have that option at all. MAS3507D(which target is this btw?) also has scaling in the code, but as I don't understand how its done atm I haven't touched it (but potentially code can be adapted for it as well). Any objections to committing it? Anton.
