The iPod mini isn't very different to the 4G Grayscale, which is now supported by Rockbox. But afaik no-one is working on it. So the answer is that Rockbox is close to working on the mini, but won't get any closer until someone comes along to do it. None of the existing Rockbox devs own one. Dave.
