Thanks for the reply.
So I take it from the reply, there's not (I know it's a long shot) a
'simple' way of converting an iPod linux codec to a Rockbox codec - i.e.
it requires me to actually understand both the Rockbox codec system and
the method in which a spectrum .tzx file works.
iirc the speccy loads at 1500 baud, so theoretically is should not be
much more difficult than modulating the data over a 1500Hz carrier.
The place to get help is the forums at WorldOfSpectrum.org, their IRC
(IF you can work out how to log in) is dead.
Hello,
I really want to convert the spectrum .tzx codec that is available
for the iPod linux project to Rockbox.
It allows spectrum game files to be outputed as audio. Totally cool,
no need for a tape recorder to load speccy games.
Has any other iPod linux codec been converted?
