I tried the Tatung Port and managed to build the latest version from CVS. I created a fullzip and unpacked it in the root filesystem of the MP3 player. I then created a backup of the FW_YH820.mi4 and then copied the pp5020.mi4 from the root to the System folder and renamed it to FW_YH820.mi4
When I start the Samsung MP3 player, it hangs at the startup screen, but it does create 2 files in the root of the harddrive
framebuffer.bin 152KB
gpio.txt 1KB
The gpio.txt contains a single line
FF 42 F7 E6 FF 0C 50 00 9B EF 5E 40
Should I start a WIKI page to track the progress of the Tatung port on the Samsung player?
What should I do next?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

1. Read the NewPort wiki page - it having a PP5020 is just one little piece
that is known, there are still lots of more you need to figure out.
2. Try the tatung bootloader from Rockbox CVS
