The only copyright I own outright in Rockbox is the stopwatch plugin. I
will state for the record that I am happy for any GPL version to be used
for the code. I am also happy for the senior brains trust of this project
(Linux, Daniel etc) to take decisions about the future versions should the
worst happen to me. I have contributed bits to various other files, but am
not the originator of those files.

As for HCl, I'm not sure of the best course of action there. As you say,
approaching the family is awkward.

For the future, could we devise a "Rockbox organisation" to pick up
copyrights in the event of death, but the individual holds them for as
long as they are alive, in the absence of other specific instructions.
Rather like a "software will", so the individual still owns the copyright
while they are alive, and are able to make other explicit instructions at
any time regarding the "inheritance"?
