in simple terms that is.
in other words, from a users experience of this patch what will I notice

versions of it, what will it sort and what won't it sort.
So far I liked the earlier versions of the patch, but not sure if I like
the sound of this latest one.
What the patch does never changed. Only how the options are called and
where they are placed. It still sorts everything, but treats numbers
within the filenames in a special way (to allow more intuitive sorting).
