The Sansa Connect played its first song in the morning of 2011-11-13, the song played was Exlibris - W Objęciach Kruka.
The code being run on DSP side of controller is the same as used in m:robe 500. The biggest obstacle is GPG signature verification on every boot. The Original Firmware's bootloader is written on hardware write-protected flash. To overwrite bootloader with patched version which skips check it is required to do hardware hack.
