The gmane.org links don't work at the moment.  If .io is substituted for
.org, only the NNTP links work.  So, remove the non-working links to
avoid inconveniencing visitors, who might otherwise (as I did!) spend
quite some time troubleshooting in order to attempt to get access to the
archives via those links.

Also make wording the same between "general" and "devel" mailing lists'
archive descriptions, for consistency.
