RocketWare was for pre-Stage II Rockets only, and had no license and hence no
serial number.

RocketShare was for Stage II Rockets only, and is indeed licensed and has a
serial number.

There are plenty of serial numbers floating around.

Probably on WAREZ sites.

If the Rocket is 40 MHz, it is a Stage II and requires RocketShare
(licensed). If the Rocket is slower than 40 MHz, it is not a Stage II and
requires RocketWare (non-licensed).
