I have a G3-acclerated Mac 7100 (Sonnet 250mhz); when I tried the Rocket in it, it would not work at all. (It was a while ago, and I ended up putting it into a Duo Dock with a Duo 230, so I don't remember the exact error messages). Which is really a shame, since it would be a great upgrade to an older Nubus Powermac to have a co-processor. The problem may be more that the Rocket software doesn't seem to like more than System 7.5.5, and I am running 9.1. I fooled around with the sequence of loading, like putting Sonnet extension at the end of the list; that didn't seem to help. Has anyone had any success in using the Rocket with more recent operating systems? with accelerators?
