I don't know if anyone knows this stuff. Perhaps I'm the only one in the dark. :-( Anyhow, I hope this is useful. The company Miro somehow acquired the displays from Radius, but later Radius became Digital Origins and merged with Media 100, whom are also the new owners of Wired magazine.
Got this from Nima, KDS Tech Support: "KDS, bought out Miro Displays (the company that owned Radius). Once this was done, KDS would only support monitors (manufactured after october 1998). Previous model monitor (prior to october 1998) and other devices such as video cards, accelerator cards, etc were supported by a company called Radius Vintage." Media 100 had a licensing agreement to KDS for $4.5 million. Thus I am not sure if this was a seperate deal, or that Miro Displays was acquired by Media 100 and then sold to KDS. Wow. A simple question turns into a research project. :-) -- Rocketeer is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
