1. Who's Constantine - me
2. What's RocketTCP - RocketTCP is installed on 'My First Rocket
Disk' when RocketShare creates it, within the 7.1 operating system that
runs the Rocket. The extension is not openable, it just sits there to
allegedly provide TCP functionality within the Rocket's OS. I say
allegedly, because it is not working for me, even though MacTCP is
installed on the host OS.
3. Why - I need to figure out why I have a valid TCP connection on
the host OS -- accesses Appleshare over TCP, connects to Internet -- but
the Rocket can only see Appletalk devices (server, printer). The Nubus
ethernet card is working, obviously, since that is the only connection
to the network. The Network control panel on the Rocket only sees
"Localtalk" as an option.

To reiterate, I tried to allocate the ethernet card by using Slot
Assignment, to the Rocket. This caused some crashes until it 'took', and
then the host machine had no connection to the network, while the Rocket
could now 'see' Ethertalk as an option under the Network control panel,
and could have an IP set for Ethertalk under MacTCP -- but it didn't
really work, as it could not see the network. Blah. I thought I had read
-- somewhere on this list perhaps -- that one didn't need to do anything
special, even though MacTCP didn't show Ethernet as an option.

Joaquin suggested that I try an earlier MacTCP; perhaps that will work.
If that doesn't work, I think I can get MacIP working on one of my 68k
Linux Mac's with MacGated, which is a Linux package that I believe does
that job.
