Be careful, you misspelled the --remote option.
What version of the IP/ROHC client do you use? To get the answer:
$ iprohc_client --version
You may got more details by adding the --debug option:
# iprohc_client --debug --remote 192.168.136.138 --port 3126 --basedev eth0
--dev iprohc --p12 /home/gordon/demoCA/client.p12
