Orte der Andersheit - Für eine archivarische Aesthetik [please scroll down for the English version]
Design2context, das Institut für Designforschung der HGK Zürich startet in Kooperation mit formatLabor Berlin und Andres Bosshard ein generatives Archivprojekt. Wir suchen ästhetische Ansätze im Themenfeld Heterotopien: Räume der Andersheit / Transformatierte Räume / Funktionslose Räume / Utopische Räume / Zwischennutzung und Umwidmung von Orten - legal und illegal. Das Projekt wird sich erstmalig im Juni 2006 in einer Ringvorlesung an der HGKZ vorstellen. Später sind eine Ausstellung und eine Publikation geplant. Wir laden DesignerInnen und KünstlerInnen, TheoretikerInnen und ForscherInnen ein, das Archiv mitzugestalten. Das entstehende Archiv wird durch seine Programmarchitektur vernetzte Produktionen ermöglichen. Außerdem unterstützt es eine differenzierte Kommunikation nach Innen und Aussen und bietet eine Präsentationsplattform für eigene Projekte. We are looking for aesthetic approaches in the field of "Heterotopia": other spaces / transformed spaces / spaces without function / utopian spaces / spaces of interim use and redefinition - legal and illegal. The project will be presented in June 2006 at the School of Art and Design Zurich. An exibition and publication will follow. We would like to invite all interested designers, artists, scientists and researchers to get actively involved in the construction of the archive. The emerging archive will enable collective production by using specific software. It will also promote differentiated communication and offer a platform for presentation of one´s own projects.
