The stuff Anil brought up; though I think those were to do with the
wiki site instead of the actual release files. Basically a 'has
someone looked at the tar.gz/zips, and do they appear to work' bit.
Oh. Yes, my comments were only to do with the wiki and they can be
addressed afterwards if necessary.
[Can't resist saying that I'm a proponent of putting a doc subtree in
the source tree and distributing it with each release, but that's a
separate issue, and I don't think we're doing it (or considering it)
right now. We've discussed it before, and so far I'm the only real
proponent. I keep hoping for more converts. Not pushing that right at
this moment though. :-)]
Planning to take a look at them myself. Do a full Postgres install and
make sure it starts up okay etc.
