Right, it would be unconventional for the feed of a blog to include data from other sources. That doesn't mean that can't have feeds that are composited from other blogs/sources, but when you subscribe to someone's blog feed, you're expecting their posts. If, for example, you subscribe to a feed that is a composite of their blog posts, their del.icio.us link feed and their flickr feed items, then you expect an entirely different mashup of feed items, it should have a different URL.
