It's relatively easy if you have knowledge of Tomcat and MySQL
Or does it require some java expertise?
You only need to know enough to set up a database connection.
Have you compared this with the other blogs out there? And how does it
compare. (say to WordPress)
File based blogs are easier to setup (bloxsom, blojsom, pebble). In
my opinion, Wordpress, Roller and the MovableType are similar in
setup difficulty, with Wordpress probably being the easiest.
