I make a mistake. my tomcat also was a 5.5.17. I use the jdk.1.4.2 and y use roller 2.1.1 and 2.1-incubating version.

Yes, well, almost. Not quite. We have 2.3-rc3 running with tomcat 5.5.17 a Solaris x86 platform and plan to have it alive and well on a Sparc machine later this evening.
