It looks like the situation might be that
http://www.deformica.com:8080/roller/blogs is using the front page theme but
is not set up as the front page blog for your server, so it probably isn't
getting the right underlying model. On the server-wide configuration page
make sure the handle of the frontpage blog is set to "blogs".

Like the main page on blogs.sun.com lists latest posts from different
blogs. I can't figure out how do I add a blog to the main one. So that
it will appear in this list:
http://www.deformica.com:8080/roller/blogs/page/directory
