Hello Garrett,
I suggest using Richard Woolcocks (KaVir) methods. He has released a
base called Gladiator Pits and in it he has gone to great detail to comment
and explain what is going on. It's some great code. Site?? Not off the top
of my head. Search for KaVir or Gladiator pits on an engine. Or search for
Andreason 16k MUD (it's on Erwin's page).
