hehe... here's my personal Linux box: [EMAIL PROTECTED] red]$ uptime 6:34pm up 1 day, 1:49, 1 user, load average: 0.08, 0.02, 0.01 That's right.. 25 hours, baby. I screwed up something in openGL yesterday and locked up the display. I mean it really locked up. My linux machine has also crashed in the last week due to: *My attempts to modify and run a defrag program. *Attempting to include 1394 (firewire) support in the kernel so I could play with my nifty ibot camera (I know it says Linux supports hot swapping, but don't believe it). *Me kicking the power cord out of the wall. *Machine completely froze up when running a devel version of Wine? So anyway.. in my experience, Linux is pretty stable until an idiot like me uses it for a desktop machine. I haven't had much experience with BSD, but I'd be willing to believe it's more stable than Linux. --Palrich.
