Re the second:
The warnings are allright, they're not going to cause any major
problems.Fixing them is good, but you have to actually be able to
interpret what the compiler's telling you (it tells you what's wrong and
how to fix 'em). I'd advise you pick up a rather decent book on C as
well, or find someone with the time to help you code, if you don't know
what you're doing.

Subject: Rom24b6 on RHL7.2

Alright, I got the rpm's installed, and managed to get the program to
compile.. somewhat. when I execute the make & command like the online
guide says, I see alot of messages that say stuff like:

gcc -c -Wall -O -g act_info.c:1122: warning: suggest explicit braces to
avoid ambiguous 'else'

and at the very end I get several error messages,
/Rom24/src/acct_info.c:2722: undefined reference to 'crypt'
and
/Rom24/src/comm.c:1652: Undefinded reference to 'crypt'
and
make: *** [rom] error 1
[1]+ Exit 2 make

any ideas?
Thanks for your help in my previous question btw,
-Ian
