Perhaps, to some that would be annoying, yes. However, one of the things
that makes DR unique is that the person never knows what to expect from
day to day, around the next corner. That said, this is one of those
things that, well, people learn to expect, and chuckle at to be honest.
Removing those isn't really going to happen.

I appreciate all of the info on what this was, as this is the first time
I've run across this compiler warning . That's what I was after
(understanding what it was), rather than critiques of my personal style.
