Translate using the great Babel Fish. http://babelfish.altavista.com/

Other than that, I personally can't help you. But babelfish is a great
translator, and pretty darn accurate, too.

Subject: Dealing with Pointers.

Greetings,

I got a question concerning pointers. In the past, I've made tables with a
search name, and the actual pointers, and written assignment functions to
assign the proper pointers with a check of the name or a pointer name, and
assigned the pointer name to the whatever in the datafiles.

I am wondering if there is a way to go a step further.
Would it be possible using fwrite, and fread to write a actual pointer to
the datafile, and then read it back in and assign as the whatever_table is
being read in? I saw this in olc2.01 but my spanish is worth a damn and I
can't translate how He did it..

something bout SHINT_TO_POINTER or INT_TO_POINTER.
The English part I understand but I can't figure out the spanish parts.

Anyone out there maybe able to convert that over to english from
tablesave.c?

Sincerely,
Siron
