Question for you: What are you trying to do with your mud?

Making an assumption (I know, dangerous) from your presence on this list
I would venture that you _do_ want to gain coding knowledge (specifically of
ROM)

the above method will in all honesty, probably not help you gain said
knowledge.

granted the frustration level is slightly lower with getting it already
added,
but how are you going to handle making changes? optimizing and repairing?

you sound like you have read the documentation that came with the snippet
and
then took your question here. So far all signs point to you being able to
do this, if that is, you want to :)
