For some, maybe not, but for the average yeah it is. You can't just replace int vnum in merc.h and call it a day, you have to replace each and every call TO said int vnum in each and every file (how many I'm not sure atm) with the proper call (ie: %d must be changed to %ld because you're no longer calling short integers).
