I"m using a completely stock version of Quickmud (besides some minor
changes I've made) and I do not know what qmconfig.rc is... sec I'll
show you output of cat...
cat qmconfig.rc
# flugh was here!
Ansiprompt 1
Ansicolor 1
Telnetga 1
END
and no I did not try and set my I.P manually.

-blink- First off... what the heck is qmconfig.rc?
Sun Jan 5 18:39:17 2003 :: Set IP address to 0.0.0.0
Init socket: bind: Address already in use
Second: why is your mud trying to init an invalid ip address?
Unless you happen to be doing this on a machine that has no ip address,
you must have tried to set your ip manually..(read not in stock ROM)
look through comm.c and check for where init socket is.
(hint: init_socket comes to mind ^_^ )
Good luck,
