There is a snippet which puts something in each pfile. It's not a listing of the vnums per se but rather some algorithm that the mud translates. This snip used to be on pdragon.inetsolve.com, but that site is gone. I'll search in my archive to see if I have it and I'll send it to you if I can find it.

In the score, there would be a line that says how much of the total rooms you've been to. Such as "You've explored 33% of the world thus far." I was thinking about how to implement something like that, but the only methods I can think of would be totally massive. Like adding a file for each pfile with a listing of every room vnum they've been in, and comparing it to the vnums in the area files. Either way, it seems like it would take up a huge amount of space however you did it. Anyone have any general ideas on how to do it effectively? It would have to remember which rooms in particular you've been to... __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
