Its simple! Maul through the code and look for HAD (Help area data). Its
what helps store it in the area's. Remove it, and replace all the
saving/loading functions to like a help.dat file or something. So you
basicly just want to save the list. So like for(pHlp = help_list ; pHlp;
pHlp = pHlp->next) fwrite_help(pHlp, fp);
And have fp like ../data/help.dat. Then have it load the same way. Its what
I do!
And I think you'll have to change hedit_new and hedit_delete as well. They
got stuff pretaining to HAD.

Not to long ago there was a few posts about changing hedit to post to a
different .are file than the one you're working in to avoid it's habit of
overwriting the entire area. I looked in the archives but there isn't
anything about that, anyone have a copy still or know how I can fix it?
