i believe by default it's set to not let you customize with more than 300
creation points, which is some ungodly amount of experience per level... it's
in skills.c i believe, tho i can't remember the function name... just open up
the file and search for something like "> 300", or really you could probably
just search for 300, because how common is that number in the code really? :)
