Depending on how pervasive you want your pretitles, you might try what I did for clan names. I added a 'filename' to the char struct, and use it instead of 'name' for loading pfiles. It only took ten entries, six of them in save.c. Now I have pfiles that look like: #PLAYER LastHost YahooBB219037894014.bbtec.net~ LastTime Mon May 5 23:29:32 2003 ~ Filename arglas~ Name Arglas Donovan~ Version 2 Race Dragon~ Clan Donovan~ Sex 1 Class 0 This way, the name "Arglas Donovan" appears everywhere. In gossips, when you see him in a room, in fight messages... ROM seems quite happy using names with spaces. Oh, and of course he automatically appears as "someone" when appropriate. ;) Sandi
