Two out of three private replies suggest I need to explain:
"OT" means Off Topic, which in the Subject of a post means 'this isn't
really within the guidelines, but I think enough people will be
interested to justify it, so if posting off topic messages is like a
moral problem for you and reading this will make you feel unclean or
something, just skip to the next message'.
So, what I meant by the subject line was, 'If I post this on the About.com
Knitting Forum, they'll just think I'm strange. But since it's about
an analogy to MUD design, some of you might appreciate it, and since you
already KNOW I'm strange, no harm done. But no, it's not specifically
about ROM, or coding therein.' :)
