Here is my situation.
I am running rom24 on a Win2000Pro machine, and I have wanted to put in
color for a while.
So...I bit the bullet, and put in Lope's colour by hand line by line.
On compile...I get aproximately 70 warnings:
\Rom24\src\comm.c(3150) : warning C4129: 'e' : unrecognized character escape
sequence
Basically...any time something refers to these defines:
/*
* ColoUr stuff v2.0, by Lope.
*/
#define CLEAR "\e[0m" /* Resets Colour */
#define C_RED "\e[0;31m" /* Normal Colours */
#define C_GREEN "\e[0;32m"
....etc.
it is complaining about the 'e'.
The mud runs fine...no crashing or anything, but when Colour is turned
on...instead of getting colored text...I get:
<2000hp 2000m 2000mv> color
ColoUr is now ON, Way Cool!
Further syntax:
colour e[0;36m<e[0mfielde[0;36m> <e[0mcoloure[0;36m>e[0m
colour e[0;36m<e[0mfielde[0;36m>e[0m e[0;36mbeepe[0m|e[0;36mnobeepe[0m
Type help e[0;36mcoloure[0m and e[0;36mcolour2e[0m for details.
ColoUr is brought to you by Lope, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
e[0;36m<2000hp 2000m 2000mv> e[0m' well
e[0;32mYou say 'e[1;32mwelle[0;32m'e[0m
I am at a total loss, and I have spent about 2 hours neck deep in the
archives, and found many questions CLOSE to this one..but none that would
let me fix my problem.
