The purpose of the list is to discuss rom development, and yes, to help people. However, that help is only as good as what you give it. If you want someone to do your work for you, then hire a coder. The list isn't here as your own personal coder. If you want guidelines, then ask away. Just make sure you've read through the archives and the answers are NOT in there. If you don't, you're leaving yourself open to being bashed, and it's your own damned fault if you are. As for your "suggestions", those apply just as well to yourself. If you don't like the answers you get, simply hit the delete button on your email account, or unsubscribe from the list. The list is NOT here to hold your hand through your code (I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you want someone to do that, go post @ mudconnector that you're looking for a coder). Keep in mind that the people on this list have been here and are NOT afraid to help people. I've done more of that in my time than I can imagine. However, if you ask something that's been through the list repeatedly, you're going to get your butt trashed.
